Event description

Description

Are you a practitioner looking to improve your practice, and network with other practitioners? The Inner Arts Collective offers monthly Professional Development Workshops, which are complementary for IAC Members and only $25 for Non-Members.

How to Facilitate a Kick-Ass Workshop is our February feature, bringing you tips and tools from the Organization Development field that will make a difference for your practice, with OD Professional Beth Allen. Don't forget to bring your business cards for the mingle component after the event!

Description

As practitioners, facilitating workshops is a cornerstone to getting your practice out in the world, introducing yourself to others, and helping others understand how your practice might benefit them. Workshops give potential clients an opportunity to meet you, ask you questions, and if it aligns, book a session with you.

This Professional Development Workshop is facilitated by organizational development & leadership consultant Beth Allen. She'll be sharing her best tips and suggestions for facilitating a workshop that people will remember.

Whether you're just getting started in your practice or a seasoned professional, you'll leave with practical tips and strategies, and get a chance to mingle with your colleagues!

About Your Facilitator

Beth Allen endeavours to create a world where hearts are full, minds are rich, and kindness and possibility prevail. She is fascinated by ideas and figuring out how to arrange all of the pieces of Organization Development (OD) puzzles for the greatest maximization and sustainability of people’s passion and an organization’s resources. Challenging people’s thinking and being challenged in a supportive environment to generate learning and insight is of particular interest to Beth. As a collector of all kinds of information she enjoys weaving a broad range of topics and techniques into her design process. When she is not crafting and co-creating OD interventions, you can find Beth with stick in hand on the ice, pedaling around town with glee, or on the couch shamelessly consuming books and ice-cream.
