How to Keep Your Garage Clean – Real Life Mgmt Skills by Past Toastmasters International Director, Tracy Thomason!
Have you ever seen a garage so piled up with stuff that the owners can barely walk through it, much less park their car in it? Is that your garage? Those piles of stuff, often piles of junk, are a constant reminder that organizing needs to be done.
Over the years, our management styles – whether leading a team or leading ourselves – collect piles of junk, too. Those invisible piles require special attention and care to get cleared away. During “How to Keep Your Garage Clean – Real Life Management Skills," we’ll organize your piles and clear away the superfluous junk.
Tracy Thomason wears many hats: Realtor, computer programmer, project manager, real estate investor, entrepreneur, and board member. From 2017 to 2019, his board member hat included a term on the Toastmasters International Board of Directors.
As a result of all his endeavors, his garage was as cluttered a mess as his mind was. And that mental mess carried over into his leadership and management skills. After becoming a devotee of agile project management, he began to see the correlation it held with organizing his life, his new career as a Realtor, and even his garage.
When not working with his business partner & wife, he frequently speaks to groups on the topics of servant leadership, online marketing, real estate investing, and entrepreneurship. He is, of course, very involved with his local Toastmasters clubs and working with entrepreneurs to help them grow their own businesses.
