John Maxwell says that “leaders must be close enough to relate to others but far enough ahead to motivate them.” In this session you will learn some of the new research around motivation that dissuades from the traditional “carrot and stick” method and learn new tools and techniques to create a motivating and engaging workplace for your employees. Key objectives from this session are:

  • Identify what motivates you as an individual
  • Learn tools to assess and understand the motives of others
  • Discuss effective ways to motivate and reward your employees
  • Discover new ways to engage employees so that they want to exert full discretionary effort on a regular basis
