Martin Braganza will talk about the path to securing funding with ACOA.
Martin will explain what ACOA’s role is and why they exist.
He'll cover the startup landscape and the resources that founders can access to test and validate their ideas and build their business cases (for ACOA and others).
Also, Martin will go over the requirements for ACOA funding and some common misconceptions. He will explain what type of company ACOA is looking for, the milestones they have to achieve, and what they need to bring to the table if they want to be seriously considered for funding. Finally, he’ll talk about the ongoing relationship with ACOA once a company gets access to their fund.
Following Martin's talk, the floor will be open for questions.
Martin is an account manager covering ICT and ACOA. He’s been with the Agency for over 13 years and has been in charge of technology investments via the Business Development Program for over 7 years.
