Event description

The World of Publishing Is Changing

There was a time when to get a book published, you needed an agent to shop your manuscript around in the hopes that you could land a publishing deal. That traditional path still exists, but many writers are now deciding to publish on their own.

In this one-day practical workshop, we'll explore the key differences between self and traditional publishing, the good, bad and ugly. We'll learn about all those things that most writers never think about when looking to publish, so you can make informed decisions moving forward.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have all the practical tools and knowledge to move confidently with your own professional quality self-published book.

What We’ll Cover

This workshop gets right down into the practical aspects of self-publishing. No fluff! We’ll cover:

  • What it looks like

  • Ensuring your book is still of professional quality when you self-publish

  • Your role and responsibility as a self-published author

  • A comparison of self-publishing firms

  • How to get your book in bookstores.

Who Should Take This Workshop

This workshop is ideal if you:

  • have stories or a novel you want to publish, but haven't had any luck finding an agent or publisher

  • are thinking of your publishing options, and want to be prepared when you're ready to publish

  • want to understand the industry better so you can ask the right questions

What We'll Do

In-class time is a mix of teaching and real-life examples of how self-publishing works. We will also spend time discussing exactly how I did it, more than once.

My Role

My role is to coach you through the process, give you constructive feedback, show you the proven methods that self-publishing writers use.

Money Back Guarantee

I'm so confident my workshop will give you the confidence to consider self-publishing as an option that I'm offering a 100% personal money back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied by the end of the workshop, I'll give you your money back no questions asked.

Class size is limited so sign up today!
