Description

This EVENING snack + learn event is tailored towards parents and guardians who are learning to use correct language with their transgender child and who are also looking to learn how to navigate conversations with other family members around gender, identity, and how to create accepting spaces within families.

This event is being put on during Transgender Awareness Week along with two other educational events and a series of community events. This event was created as a way to provide more space and support to parents who are seeking educational resources on how to best support their child(ren).

Details:

Location: OUTSaskatoon
Event time: Doors at 6:30pm with the session beginning at 7:00pm
Entry: Sliding scale (all profits go towards future educational events)
Food and (non-alcoholic) drinks will be provided
OUTSaskatoon is fully accessible via an elevator that is accessible through the front double doors.
This event takes place on Treaty 6 Territory and homeland of the Metis people.
