About this Event

Talking about climate change with friends and family can be hard, especially when you understand the impact of carbon emissions on the health of our planet. But talking about climate change can also be an effective way to influence change. Join us for this workshop presented by Carbon Conversations Toronto to learn how to have a productive and meaningful conversation about climate change with friends and family.

Topics this workshop will touch on include:

- How to help others feel that the subject is important to them and that they can do something about it

- How to manage conflicts about the subject with people who we love and like

- How to cope with our feelings when the topic comes up.

***The workshop starts at 6 pm, but doors open at 5:30 pm.***

Come early so you can chat with fellow environmental enthusiasts and make new friends.

Originated in the UK, the Toronto model of Carbon Conversations aims to create safe spaces for people to express concerns about climate change while gaining tools and resources to help reduce their carbon footprint. Carbon Conversations Toronto help people work with the complex emotions that make it difficult to act and find renewed motivation. Learn more at CarbonConversationsTO.com
