Based on the best selling book by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish. "How To Talk So Kids Will Listen, and Listen So Kids Will Talk". This six-week course will explore a down to earth and respectful approach to making relationships, with children of all ages, less stressful and more rewarding. It will provide innovative ways of problem solving, helping children deal with negative feelings, expressing your anger without being hurtful, engaging children’s cooperation and exploring alternative to punishmen Presented by Ruth Houston, RECE, BCD, MA. Ruth Houston is the Program Manager for York Child Development & Family Services, Inc., an agency that operates licensed child care, EarlyON and CAPC programs in York Region. Ruth has delivered professional development to the Early Learning Community for many years. Her areas of expertise are curriculum development, documentation, HDLH and positive guidance.

Please note: We do require a minimum of 15 particpants for this workshop to proceed.
