About this Event

Communication plays a fundamental role in our daily lives, yet the art of communication within the workplace can be a challenge for some people. Effective communication is an essential part of an organization’s success; no matter who you’re talking to--donors, potential sponsors, partners or each other--knowing how to communicate clearly and positively enhances relationships, increases engagement and helps your whole team be more effective.

Whether these are new skills or a refresher, join us for a three-hour overview of practical tools to help improve all your communications.

He works with organizations to design functional strategic plans and sustainable strategies to help them grow. His collaborative approach and practical workshops have helped dozens of small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs overcome their unique hurdles and flourish.

Laura Hutcheson is a Certified Professional Coach with Erickson Coaching International, an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, and a member of the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She has broad coaching experience working with individuals and groups on issues both personal and professional. Laura supports change through tools, processes, and questions that facilitate shifts in perspective and open up new awareness, possibilities, and solutions. Some of Laura's recent work includes 1UP Single Parent Resource Centre, Citizens' Counselling Centre, Dialogue and Resolution Services and Family Sparks. Laura lives in Victoria with her husband, three children, two dogs, and two cats
