Description
Impact Hub Ottawa is about to expand to a new location, and we're saying goodbye to our current coworking and community space on Bank St with one last Hub & Spoke! But this is not just a farewell party - we're also celebrating the exciting opportunities to come, and we want you - new and old friends alike - to write the next chapter of our story with us!
We're inviting the founders, organizers, and leaders of some of the city's most dedicated and dynamic communities to share their stories and celebrate our collective journey to #dogoodbetter. Join us and hang out with our city's social entrepreneurs and innovators: creatives, makers, hackers, artists, scientists, and community philanthropists and volunteers. You're guaranteed to meet fascinating people, learn something new, and be inspired. Our lineup includes:
...and a special keynote from architect (New York), artist, and professor Manuel Báez (designer of our spectacular ceiling sculpture) who will be sharing an exciting new project that will be a #Canada150 landmark for Ottawa-Gatineau!
You'll also hear about what's in store for Impact Hub Ottawa - get an early sneak peek into our new space, as well as our new membership and programming opportunities.
Doors open at 6pm. As always, we'll be providing delicious finger foods and a cash bar - you just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

What is Hub & Spoke?
It is Impact Hub Ottawa's signature twice-a-year networking event. It brings together creative and entrepreneurial changemakers from different disciplines and sectors, and also showcases the breadth of community initiatives and projects in our city and how citizens can get involved. Check out the action from our most recent Hub & Spoke!
What do I need to bring?
Just your genuine desire to meet new people and learn new things! There is no need to print your registration email or ticket - you can just check in with your name at the door.
Where does my money go?
Impact Hub Ottawa is a non-profit organization. Your ticket helps cover the hard and soft costs of the event, and any surplus supports our other programs and events that help our community do good better.
How do I get there?
Impact Hub is located on the east side of Bank St between Sparks and Queen. We are a wheelchair-accessible location, directly on OC Transpo's 1/2/7 route and a couple blocks from the Transitway, with ample bike parking in the area. For those who need to drive, there is an underground parking garage in the building across the street (C.D. Howe at 235 Queen St) which is free after 5pm.
