Human Resource Management System for Enhanced Productivity (Fred.)
Thu, 26 January 2017, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Human resource management can seem overwhelming at times. Today’s workforce is changing, requiring leaders to be knowledgeable and skilled in many areas. Juggling employee engagement, training and development, performance appraisals, benefits, employment standards, human rights, policies and procedures are but a few of the areas to consider when managing employees. The list is long which explains why we can sometimes drop the ball…
This session is focused on enhancing women entrepreneurs’ human resource management knowledge and skills through the implementation of a Human Resource Management System. In this session we will share practical tools and information on how to adapt these in your particular workplace. Juggling is an art form and the session is aimed at keeping those balls in the air! An investment in a Human Resource Management System is an investment in success!
A pre-session questionnaire
Participants will be invited to send the consultant, prior to the training session, their business profile and expectations. To ensure consistency in the profiles, the consultant will send to each participant a small profile questionnaire. This will allow the consultant to be more relevant to individual participant’s needs.
Marie-José LeBlanc, will bring (1) experience, knowledge and expertise in the area of human resource management, and (2) capabilities in facilitation, coordination and design of business management skills development training. Marie-José LeBlanc will provide a one-day training session (from 9:00am to 4:30pm) to a maximum of eight participants per region.
A two-hour one-on-one consultation
It is understood that each participant may have specific situations that may benefit from some one-on-one time with a consultant. For this reason, the learning acquired during the session can be revisited during a two-hour consultation provided to each participant following the workshop/session. Consultations may be made in person (within a reasonable distance from the consultant’s residence), by phone, by Skype or by email. The consultant resides in the Miramichi region and some participants may choose to travel to the consultant’s office as well.
