Human Rights Film Festival (HRFF+): Reunited
Event Information
About this Event
Two Syrian refugee boys are living alone in Turkey. Jad is 11 years old, his brother Nidalis is 17. Two and a half years ago, their mother Rana fled to Denmark, hoping to establish a safe future for her children. She was under the impression that the children would be able to come to Denmark within half a year, but the European refugee policy obstructs the move and throws Rana into an existential crisis, that makes her doubt her choice of leaving her children behind.
Reunited follows a family divided by war and lets the audience experience the consequences of choices made under huge amounts of pressure.
