Description

We’ve all experienced some adversity in our lives. It's how we deal with it that counts.

You are invited to a FREE, incredibly inspirational presentation by Kaleb Dahlgren. In 2018, he was an Assistant Captain of the Humboldt Broncos and ultimately a survivor of the bus crash that resulted in 16 deaths, 13 players left in critical condition and broke the collective hearts of our nation.

Kaleb suffered extensive injuries including a traumatic brain Injury, fractured skull, fractures in his neck and back, blood clots, and much more. Being a fighter all his life, Kaleb was driven to return to hockey and was determined to continue making an impact on and within his community.

Come hear how he overcame these obstacles, as he has been doing since age 4, to now attend York University, play varsity hockey and inspire others to overcome adversity in their own lives.

If you wish, please wear a hockey jersey in support of Humboldt Strong!

This presentation is part of the Glen Abbey United Church Inspirational Speaker Series. Admission is free but registration is required to reserve your place for this outstanding event.
