As a follow-on to our very successful forum last June, the Hydrogen Business Council (HBC) is hosting a seminar in the afternoon of November 1st at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre in Toronto. The seminar will be followed by a networking reception where attendees can socialize with others who are also interested in this promising and rapidly developing clean technology sector.
This informative event will feature several speakers covering a wide range of topics related to the advancement of hydrogen technologies and systems here in Ontario. With the province' s recently announced $8.3 billion Climate Action Plan to reduce CO2 emissions under a cap and trade system, our members and stakeholders are ready to implement commercial-ready practical solutions that enable this de-carbonization agenda. Very Importantly, these solutions are ready to advance the Action Plan's call for hydrogen vehicles to be part of the electric vehicle mix in Ontario that will reduce the use of fossil fuels in various transportation applications. They also include hydrogen solutions for energy storage and other fossil fuel substitutions.
A preliminary outline of the program (which will be updated regularly until a week prior to the event):

Who We Are
Hydrogen Business Council of Canada is a like-minded community dedicated to bringing knowledge and opportunities to the minds and hands of those who can apply and realize the benefits of hydrogen technology in their work and their lives.
Climate change reduction is at the heart of our initiative. We believe that a practical and scalable pathway for sustainability needs to include informed planning and investment in a strategic H2 infrastructure serving growing end-user demands. One area we work to advance is the role of zero emission hydrogen technologies to ensure their clean attributes contribute to maximum potential within the big picture of energy solutions.
We are committed to maintaining a clear voice of the Canadian hydrogen industry for diverse stakeholder groups. As such, we seek to align with other hydrogen-focused organizations to ensure that all efforts are complementary and additive.
