Description

The focus of this 3-class series is to build strength & resiliency in the body, beginning with the foundation (core, hips & knees), then working our way up. As we age, it is vitally important to maintain and build strength for the health of our muscles and bones, as well as for the strength of our Spirit.

As a former world class athlete, I have spent years lifting weights and doing all sorts of training in order to build strength & resiliency. But the rigorous training that I did when I was in my teens and 20's is no longer appropriate for my body. The wisdom of age and years of practice have revealed a new path of strength training that I believe is suitable for all.

Dates: Tuesdays, January 9, 16 & 23 (11:45-12:45)

Cost:
For registered Yoga at St. Mark's students - $45 (plus bands = $70)
For non-registered students - $60 (plus bands = $85)
5 multi-resistance bands - $25

Each 60-minute class will include a warm-up, strength building & conditioning and cool-down.
