Description

Iain Reid is the author of two critically acclaimed, award-winning books of non-fiction. His bestselling debut novel, I’m Thinking of Ending Things was an international smash hit and named one of NPR’s Best Books of 2016. Optioned by Charlie Kaufman for Netflix, the book is now in movie development translated into more than a dozen languages.

Come hear him discuss his latest psychological mind-bending novel, Foe, which explores the story of two young farmers and the opportunity of a lifetime. Possibly.

This event is part of the Appel Salon series at the TPL, where we present discussions and talks with the most exciting writers from around the world in our premier literary venue, the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon.

Ticket Holders: Limit two tickets per valid email address. Doors open at 6 pm. Please join us for a cash bar reception starting at 6 pm. As most Appel Salon events are free, it is our policy to overbook. In case of a full program, your ticket reservation may not guarantee admission. We recommend you arrive early.

Room Capacity: Based on fire code regulations the Appel Salon can accommodate seating for 458 in the main room. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Additional overflow seating as well as standing room is available in the adjoining room.
