FISHING:

Elbow Lake: Crappie (catch and release only) It is a short walk from the pavilion/cabins to the lake.

Spectacle Lake: Crappie (access to Spectacle will depend on how much snow is on the ice as it is a fair walk to that location - approximately1 km)

Back Lake X: Perch, pike and crappie (5 - 10 minute drive from ELEEC)

ALCOHOL: Responsible use of alcohol is allowed in the cabins and the main pavilion ONLY. For your own safety and the enjoyment of others, we ask that participants do not overindulge.

  • Elbow Lake is a nature reserve and biological research station so live bait and barbed hooks are not allowed. Fishing is catch and release only on Elbow but we can keep fish from two other back lakes.
  • NO motorized vehicles allowed - ATVs, snowmobiles, snow machines, etc.
  • If there is not much snow, we can walk to Spectacle Lake where we've had great success with crappie in the past. It is a 30 minute walk approximately.
  • The lake we fish for perch/pike is a short drive away (5 - 10 minutes) and an easy walk out on the ice (10 - 15 minutes).

INCLUDED:

  • Two nights accommodation (Fri & Sat) 2 - 3 people per cabin.
  • Thursday night is optional for an additional cost.
