Event description
Join us for our Annual General Meeting followed by our special guest speaker Kathi Camilleri on Building a Village in Complex Times

About this event

At the end of each year the ICF-Vancouver Island Chapter members come together to celebrate the successes of the year. We thank our outgoing leadership team, welcome the new year and the incoming leadership team, all while connecting with colleagues and friends. We'd be delighted if you'd join us!

This year's Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday December 5th, 2020 from 10:00-12:00pm. Due to the pandemic we are breaking with the tradition of brunch at Hatley Castle and hosting this year's event entirely online. In lieu of brunch we are delighted to bring you our special keynote speaker Kathi Camilleri. Kathi will speak to the topic of Building a Village During Complex Times.

Please note that this event is for ICF-VI Chapter Members only.

GUEST SPEAKER: KATHI CAMILLERI

Building a Village During Complex Times

Kathi Hemphill Camilleri is of Métis-Cree and Irish ancestry. She has considerable experience as a cultural safety consultant, with more than 25 years of leadership in facilitating, counselling, developing, directing and coordinating Aboriginal Community-based programs. Twenty-three years ago, inspired by the work of Jann Derrick and many elders, Kathi created Building Bridges through Understanding the Village© workshop to increase cultural safety in organizations and communities across Canada and the U.S.. The original workshop has now grown to include other workshops at villageworkshopseries.com.

Kathi offers an Indigenous perspective on how the traditional values of the village can be used in coaching to support clients to create greater sustainability and satisfaction in their work during these very complex times. What works well about having a village? How do we build a modern day village within and across organizations? Do you have a village around you and how can you help your clients build a village around themselves?

We look forward to seeing you there!
