Full Stack .Net Web Developer

The incumbent in this role will enhance and develop features for our web-based suite of applications. The successful candidate will have a solid background in .NET/C# and database development using structured SDLC methodologies.


As a full-stack developer, you will work with everything from front-end HTML, CSS and JS to server-side C# and several different data stores including MSSQL Server.


Candidates are not expected to know everything but must demonstrate that he or she is a quick learner. Individuals will be paired with mentors who will help them grow and develop these skills.


Major Duties and Responsibilities
Solid programming skills in C# or Java and a track record of getting things done
Experience in a server-side web development stack (e.g. ASP.NET, nodejs, etc). Experience in C# / ASP.NET MVC / MySQL or SQL Server. Up-to-date knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and JS
Strong telecommuting skills: self-motivating, self-directing, and a good communicator


Nice to Have:

  • Single Page Application framework with Angular JS is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL and MySQL Server database knowledge including triggers and stored procedures, along with experience using ODBC and SQL;
  • XML technologies – XML, XSLT, XSD, JAXP;
  • Qualifications
  • University/College Degree/Diploma or near completion in Computer Science or Engineering;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong ability to work independently;
  • Good Internet-application support skills;
  • Strong technical skills, and the desire/aptitude for continuous learning;
