Are you interested in hydro power plants? Do you want to know more about how hydro power plants generate electricity? The IEEE PES/IAS Student Branch of University of Calgary in collaboration with TransAlta has arranged a tour of 2 TransAlta hydro power generation plants. The tour will commence on January 19 (Saturday) at 8:00 am. We will be meeting at the University of Calgary and carpooling to the site and expect to be back by 4:00 pm. Interested people are welcome to signup for the event! The $15 fee will be refunded to IEEE members after the tour!
