About this event
“Necessity breeds innovation.” That well-worn phrase became marching orders during the COVID-19 pandemic as publishers and booksellers scrambled to respond to ever-changing market conditions and a strained supply chain. Learn from a panel of pros across the supply chain, including logistics, metadata, customer relations, and marketing — what they did to adapt and what they will be incorporating into their workflows going forward.
Athmika Punja works closely with sales, fulfillment, and customer service on projects to improve the supply chain. Her team at Penguin Random House Canada covers customer operations, sales assistance, publisher operations, as well as co-op processes. Prior to her four years there, she was in operations at ECW Press for four years.
Eulalee Lumsden is the Data Associate at House of Anansi Press, where she manages bibliographic data. Eulalee started out at House of Anansi as the Cross Media Assistant and quickly became intrigued by ebook and metadata accessibility. Eulalee continues to be amazed at how much data one book can hold.
