Where is the Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival located?

The Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival takes place in the heart of Toronto, Canada. Runway shows take place at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, and the symposium and hands-on workshops take place at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Are the IFA Festival venues accessible?

Yes, all of our Festival venues are fully accessible. If you have additional questions regarding accessibility, please contact guestservices@indigenousfashionarts.com.

How do I purchase tickets for the Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival?

Accepted Answer

Tickets for the Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival can be purchased through Eventbrite. Simply visit the Eventbrite website or mobile app, search for "Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival," and select the ticket option that suits your needs.

What types of tickets are available for the festival and how much are they?

We have a wide variety of tickets available for purchase. All ticket details are included in the description of each ticket type on the event pages.

Can I purchase tickets in person?

Accepted Answer

Yes, tickets can be purchased for the Indigenous Fashion Arts Festival Runways and the Symposiums at the door. However, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to ensure that you will get a spot, as door tickets are based on availability for each part of the festival (runway and symposium).

Do I have to set up an Eventbrite account to get my tickets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you don’t already have an account, one will be created with the email address you used to place the order. Please note you must set a password to claim your ticket(s).

Question 8

What are your policies for exchanges and returns?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

If you cannot attend the festival, you can transfer your ticket to another person. Visit the Eventbrite website or app and follow the instructions for transferring tickets. IFA is unable to perform transfers on a guest's behalf.

Question 9

Do you offer ticket discounts?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not offer discounted tickets for the festival programming. If you require accommodation with ticketing, please email ticketing@indigenousfashionarts.com.

Question 10

How can I redeem my complimentary ticket or pass?

Accepted Answer

You will receive an email with a unique promo code to access your complimentary ticket or pass. You can redeem your ticket by logging into Eventbrite and entering your code at checkout. If you experience any difficulties, please contact ticketing@indigenousfashionarts.com.

Question 11

Will you be scanning tickets to enter the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to enter the premises, we will scan your ticket. You can print your tickets at home or present them on your mobile device at the designated entrance beside the Roots Canada store (West side of Yonge Street, north of Shuter Street). Accredited guests can also scan their tickets at guest services

Can you print my tickets for me?

Accepted Answer

No, we will not provide printed tickets. This is a paperless event, and we encourage all ticket holders to present their tickets on their phones or tablets.

Question 13

Should I buy my ticket from someone offering tickets online?

Accepted Answer

We recommend purchasing your tickets through our Eventbrite page. IFA is not responsible for tickets purchased elsewhere.

Question 14

Do you offer tax exemptions for those with status cards?

Accepted Answer

We could not set up a tax-exempt portion for our Eventbrite ticketing. However, we encourage all patrons who are eligible for tax exemption to purchase our econo-rate tickets.
