Discover the Three Cs: Care, Collaboration, and Craft at the 5th Interactive Film and Media Virtual Conference!
We're thrilled to invite academics and practitioners alike to immerse themselves in exploring the interplay of care, collaboration, and craft within interactive film and media. Whether you're a faculty member, researcher, Ph.D. student, filmmaker, artist, VR or game designer, or media producer, we look forward to your contributions to framing the conditions of interaction and interactivity within these three key strands.
The #IFM2023 Conference offers a unique platform for our presenters to unravel, reinvent, and interweave the dynamic relationship between care, collaboration, and craft across new media platforms and practices. We believe in the potency of this nexus as a fertile ground for addressing polarization by fostering diverse voices, plural practices, and innovative collaborations.
As we navigate this fluid, adaptive axes of care, collaboration, and craft, we're eager to see the shared languages and ideas that will emerge. Your participation is vital in this dialogue and exploration.
This year, we are excited to welcome a diverse gathering of researchers and practitioners from several universities and labs on all continents, each contributing unique perspectives and compelling works to our conference.
Join us for three days of stimulating conversations, debates, and presentations showcasing the latest research and practice in interactivity in film and media. The #IFM2023 Virtual Conference takes place from June 7th to 9th on the Zoom platform, with free general admission.
