Abstract:

Delivering necessary and sufficient services to customers and stakeholders is still a major challenge for most organizations. The promise of “e-whatever” has yet to be fully realized primarily because we still have the construct of information silos both from the organizational perspective as well as with our technology.

Should we be able to realize the real potential of Information as a Shared Service we would:

    • Improve return on investment of people, process and technology;

    • Close productivity gaps;

    • Increase communications with stakeholders; and most importantly;

    • Innovate with less.
