About this event
Through our hands-on-workshops, Tech Bytes team is committed to empowering youths with much needed digital literacy skills. Throughout this summer, we will conduct workshops on topics like Visual story telling, embedded, VR and 3D printing.
In this workshop, we will go through the basics of Image Editing (edit photos, apply photo effects, and add frames, graphics, and text). We will use Photoshop Elements for this workshop.
No prior knowledge on this topic is required for this workshop. Computers with required software will be available for this workshop, so students do not need to bring laptops. Targeted age group for this workshop is students of age group 11-14.
**Due to limited capacity of seats, our workshops are first-come-first-served. To secure your spot, please register (book tickets only for your kids who will be attending the workshops) as soon as possible.**
Parents can drop their kids for the workshop and stay in the library/pickup at the end of the workshop. Free 4 hours parking is available. No need for Coquitlam library card to attend this session and students of the above age group living in Lower Mainland (Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley and beyond) are welcome.
Please check our website for regular updates of our initiatives.
