Join QUEST for a two part meeting on August 30 from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

Part 1: Imagining the Future of Energy Efficiency in Communities in New Brunswick

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

As part of the Government of Canada’s Generation Energy initiative, QUEST will deliver a workshop entitled Imagining the Future of Energy Efficiency in Communities in New Brunswick

In a charrette-style energy mapping workshop, drawing on CanmetENERGY's Putting Energy and Emissions on the Map exercise, participants will be encouraged to discuss and visualize their vision for the future of energy efficiency at the community level. Workshop participants will be invited to share their vision for energy use in buildings, land use and transportation, distributed energy resources and more. We encourage local governments, utilities, real estate developers, non profit organizations, researchers and energy service providers to participate in the workshop.

The ideas generated in this workshop will be documented and used to inform further discussions about energy efficiency at the Generation Energy Forum taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba from October 11-12, 2017.

Part 2: QUEST New Brunswick Caucus Meeting

Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm

The QUEST New Brunswick Caucus will be hosting a meet and greet for existing and new Caucus members. An agenda will follow. The purpose of the QUEST New Brunswick Caucus is to facilitate collaboration among all levels of government, utilities, the real estate sector, academia, NGOs, energy service providers and others to advance Smart Energy Communities in New Brunswick. The meeting will be facilitated by Eddie Oldfield, Chair of the QUEST New Brunswick Caucus and Owner of Spatial Quest Solutions. Lunch will be provided.
