If you hire Amani for a consultation you will be charged $60 - 150/hr. She teaches grant writing, creative writing, curates shows and has has worked in England, Trinidad, the United States and Canada as a Creative. But, now you are going to meet and pick the brains of four incredible Sistah Artists In Da Biz for a fraction of that price. You will hear them perform spoken word and share the secrets to their success and then you can ask them those burning questions in one of our breakout rooms.

How do I write a grant? How do I monetize my skills? How much should I get paid for work? Should I charge an hourly rate or a flat rate? How do I create a Curriculum Vitae? How can I get contracts? How do I write a contract? Should I register as a Sole Proprietorship?

On October 16 from 3pm - 6pm (EST)... Creatives, BIPOC, Artists, Artpreneurs, Arts and Cultural Workers and Youth (ages 18-30) as well as members of the general public with an interest in the Arts and/or Business will have a chance to listen to and ask burning questions they have about how to survive as a Creative in this day and age.. Led by Industry Professional and Renaissance Woman Amani and Facilitated by Youth Facilitator from Nova Scotia, Sydnie Paris... registered participants can listen to four leaders in their creative field who are not only Spoken Word Artists, Playwrights, Arts Educators and Project Managers... but they are also Lady Bosses with a Keen Business Savvy that has given them each the ability to not only survive as artists, but to make a name for themselves as professionals in their field.

**Amani**- the Brainchild behind this Event, is the recipient of the Harry Jerome Award for Excellence in Entertainment, she is a Curator, Creative Consultant, Producer, Playwright and Creativity Coach, who has performed and produced both locally and internationally.
