Inclusion * Learning * Celebration

Scarborough Immigrant Employment and Health Recognition Awards

The Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership (TEQ LIP) in collaboration with Toronto Public Health (TPH) and University of Toronto Scarborough is pleased to present Immigrant Employment T.O. Day 2017– “Scarborough Immigrant Employment and Health Recognition Awards”. The event will take place on Friday June 23rd, 2-4pm at the Agincourt Public Library, 155 Bonis Ave, Scarborough, ON M1T 3W6.

Immigrant Employment T.O. Day is held annually to celebrate the diverse opportunities developed by local businesses, residents and organizations to promote employment opportunities, skill building and labour market integration for newcomers, and to celebrate the skills and talents of immigrant professionals.

This year marks Canada’s 150th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, Immigrant Employment T.O. Day 2017 in partnership with University of Toronto Scarborough’s 150 Neighbours Initiative will recognize key individuals, local businesses and service organizations who have made outstanding contributions in supporting immigrants and newcomers in employment, health and well-being within the Scarborough community.

The event will include keynote speakers, entertainment and the award ceremony.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
