Description

Join Pages UnBound at Videofag on February 18th as two acclaimed experimental writers join forces for an evening of dramatic readings.

Derek McCormack presents The Well-Dressed Wound. He will give a spirited reading of selections from his play-within-a-novel and will discuss how it functions as drama and ways that he imagines that the text could be realized as a fully-produced stage play using actors, props, set design, lighting, special effects, music, and costuming.

Lonely Christopher presents a dramatic table reading of his two-act verse play Endymion Dreams the Moon, inspired by the Greek myth and the poem by John Keats, featuring the author in the role of the Stranger and the actor Matt Landry (Shimmer Lake, Crazy House) as the Kid.

Hosted by Aaron Mirkin.

Doors open at 7:30, event begins at 8:00.

Coordinated by Daniel Glassman & Kate Barss.

Thanks to Videofag, Pages UnBound & the Toronto Arts Council.
