Improv Level 1B: Exploring Improv

Our intro class is a fun first step into improv for people with some improv experience. Discovering the secrets of offers and agreement, this class teaches students of all backgrounds and skill levels how to tell stories off the top of your head, work with other improvisers to make those stories together, and have fun with some classic improv games.
Students who take this class will:
-Understand expectations and acceptable behaviours. Tardiness, personal boundaries
-Be able to accept offers and expand upon them
-Have a basic understanding of story
-Use emotion to heighten the stakes and interest of the scene
-Be able to play and have fun
This class runs for three Monday evenings in a row from 6-10.
Prerequisites: No experience necessary, but some improv or performance training is an asset.
There are no refunds but we can offer credit for other Instant classes.
