About this event

The skills that make good improv comedians are transferable to every day life. These skills include active listening, creating an atmosphere without judgement, being positive, existing in the moment, learning that mistakes are opportunities, taking the focus off yourself.

These classes are for anyone who wants to get better at communicating, improving self confidence, awareness, and learning to laugh at yourself.

The classes are a lot of fun as we explore the necessity of play in our lives. We'll use improv techniques, not to create comedy, but make you a more confident, interactive, and fun person to be around.

Class Feedback:

This is incredible. It was such a great way to all connect on a human level and really break down that barrier of fear when putting ourselves out there.

Small, fun group environment with a catered format; Ralph really has a way of taking the pressure off and making everyone feel safe, while having a blast. Learned alot from his detailed feedback and comments.

Ralph is a legendary improv coach in Toronto, and for good reason - he creates the safest environment I have experienced, knows how to relax participants and get the best out of each of us. Above all - he gives supportive, actionable feedback - continually.

This class was a huge success, largely due to the talented host, Ralph MacLeod. It’s one thing to lead people with assorted levels of experience through improv exercises. It’s quite another to help us understand the deeper purpose of what we were doing.
