Event description
Please join us for a FASS panel for faculty, instructors, staff and teaching assistants to hear what SFU has learned from past incidents.

About this Event

Are disturbing incidents, signs of student stress or outright emergencies on the rise at SFU and other post-secondary institutions?

Please join us for a FASS panel for faculty, instructors, staff and teaching assistants.

If you are on the front line, what are some of the behavioral indicators to observe about students in distress, and how can instructors and staff best respond?

Find out what has SFU learned from past incidents about critical incident response and resolution. Brush up on recent changes to policies and procedures, hear about some basic coping stratagems and join an open discussion about what we can learn, to better support all involved in such events.

You are not alone.
