During this initial stage in the reintroduction of public Mass in the Saint Charbel Parish, Ottawa, we can only admit up to ONLY 65 people per Mass, excluding the priest and volunteers. For this reason, we ask all those attending Mass to PRE-REGISTER

Given these circumstances, Masses will always be held at Saint Charbel Church. We must enforce a NO-TICKET, NO_ENTRY policy. Walk-ins are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. Daily communicants will also have to PRE-REGISTER for every Mass they wish to attend. If the Mass you want to attend is already full, please select a different Mass. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Need to cancel? If you booked a ticket and need to cancel, you can do so by clicking the "view and manage your order online" link on your confirmation email, or by emailing us at stcharbel.ottawa@maronites.ca

Please take a moment and read the following:

1. Use the Ottawa Health Services (OHS) self-assessment tool. If you have any flu-like symptoms, please stay at home. Volunteers and staff reserve the right not to admit anyone exhibiting symptoms.

2. ENTRY and EXIT: enter through the front main entrance gates. Entrance will open 30 minutes prior to each Mass. After Mass, everyone will be asked to exit through the main entrance gates.

3. CHECK-IN: as you enter, you will need to show your ticket to the volunteers to check you in (either in print or on your mobile device). At this point, they will be asking you questions to verify information needed for contact tracing.

4. MUST DO: Upon ENTRY you will be asked to WASH/SANITIZE YOUR HANDS at the designated hand washing stations and thereafter you will continue to be seated.

MASKS: All attendees are encouraged to bring their own non-medical mask and wear it during their stay in the Church.

ACCESS: CHURCH and BUILDING ACCESS ARE NOT PERMITTED: all doors will be closed during Mass.

SOCIALIZING: Please refrain from socializing before, during and after mass.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please exercise due diligence by practicing Social Distancing.

Bishop Paul-Marwan Tabet's decree dispensing Maronite Catholics in Canada from the Sunday obligation remains — this means that even though public Masses have resumed, Maronite Catholics in Canada are not obliged to attend Mass and those who attend do so out of their own free will and prudential judgment.

How to register:

Prior to registering, please double-check the date and time on this page and ensure that this is the Mass you are planning to attend.

1. Click the orange "register" button

2. Select the ticket for the Mass time you wish to attend and indicate the specific number of attendees in your party, including infants.

3. In this next step, please ensure that you indicate the first and last name of each ticket holder/attendee, for contact tracing purposes.

4. Complete the process by clicking the "register" button. You will receive your e-tickets by email.

خلال هذه المرحلة الأولية من العودة لحضور أبناء الرعية القداس في كنيسة القديس شربل، أوتاوا، لا يمكننا إلا استقبال 65 شخصًا كحد أقصى في القداس، ذلك باستثناء الكاهن والمتطوعين. ولهذا السبب، نطلب من جميع الحاضرين في القداس التسجيل المسبق.
