Description

The in-person workshop will cover the various advocacy methods, when to deploy them (in a Canadian context), the skills needed and pitfalls to avoid. The session will also provide actual examples of failed and successful advocacy efforts.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

- Name advocacy methods that may be applicable to your cause
- Identify the skills you need to employ such methods
- Describe success factors and challenges you may encounter

*** Please bring with you a description of a cause you may wish to advocate for.
