In this "pay-what-you-can" webinar, attendees will learn how to become better allies through the use of inclusive communications.

About this event

Join Marika and Sacha from Bluepoint PR for a "pay-what-you-can" webinar that will teach attendees how to become better allies through the use of inclusive communications, primarily in the online environment.

As a business focused on inclusive communications we often have conversations with clients about how to make their communications more inclusive or have new clients connect with us looking to be more inclusive in their communications but are nervous about how this will be perceived. This webinar will offer a safe space to learn how to approach inclusive communications if you are new to communications, want to expand your knowledge, or are ready to approach inclusive communications on your social media platforms.

This is a pay-what-you-can webinar and a $10 donation is recommended, but not required. Donations will be matched up to $500 and will be divided evenly between Sarnia's Diversity Ed and Rebound's Spectrum Program. Donations can be made via e-transfer to bluepointpublicrelations@gmail.com (please indicate in the memo that the transfer is a donation for the webinar).

More about Diversity Ed: Diversity Ed. - Safer Spaces Canada provides customized workshops and training to create 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion. Its mission is to work toward creating and maintaining a safer, inclusive and equitable environment for 2SLGBTQAI+ children, youth, adults, seniors and their families, friends and allies. Diversity Ed runs also multiple drop-in programs for 2SLGBTQ+ folx in downtown Sarnia, ON.

More about Rebound's Spectrum program: Spectrum is an inclusive drop-in open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit and questioning 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Sarnia-Lambton aged 12-24. They offer 1-1 support to youth who attend their centre and help youth gain self-confidence and feel comfortable in their respective identities.
