Description

Join us for an Inclusive speed development cross-training class for youth with and without impairments.

Athletes with and without an impairment are invited to participate and work alongside one another to build physical literacy skills and agility through a speed development cross training program usually taught to junior and professional level athletes. We are providing a modified version for athletes with and without impairments physical and cognitive impairments.

This is a community inclusion class that will run for a total of 1.5 hours. There will be two 45 minute sessions, the first 45 minute session will be geared towards athletes without a disability. The following 45 minutes will involve the athletes in the first group assisting athletes with Autism and related impairments with completing a circuit training program

Invite any family member (brother, sister, cousin, etc.) to join in for both portions of the program!
When:
April 10, 17, May 8, 15, 22, 29 (Wednesday)
First group: 6:15 - 7 PM
Second group (w/ disability): 7 - 7:45 PM

Cost:
$10/session + $9 Membership with ACPSA (one-time cost)

Trainer:

Luke Logan CSEP-CPT – NAIT, Mittology Hand Pad Trainer L2
Luke is a graduate of the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer Program and a former amateur boxer. Currently he is training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and incorporates martial arts into his own and his client training whenever he can.
