A curated series of conversations on inclusivity hosted by lululemon ambassador, Ashley Mitchell.
About this event
Join lululemon ambassador and founder of the Courage Campaign, Ashley Mitchell, for the SECOND iteration of conversations exploring this important topic: how do we become more inclusive?
During the first Inclusivity Series, we were able to shine a light on the various ways in which discrimination and exclusionary tactics can show up in our wellness spaces.
With the goal of evolving our understanding of how systemic oppression prevents us ALL from achieving true freedom, the Inclusivity Series Part 2 aims to further expose the greater systems that perpetuate oppression on historically marginalized and violated groups.
By the end of the series, it's our sincere hope that the audience will take away the following:
1. An understanding of the present-day manifestations of colonialism & white supremacy
2. The impact of the above on our individual and collective wellness
3. Feel empowered to ACT on the issues that feel most imperative to them
Every Thursday evening at 7pm EST, for 6 weeks, Ashley will invite different leaders to join in the discussion.
Although this series is geared towards wellness practitioners, instructors, and fitness professionals, we welcome anyone who is interested in becoming a part of this change.
