Indian Business Delegation visit to Ottawa

Canada-India: The Road Ahead

The panel is being organized to explore potential investment opportunities in Canada and India. To mark the event, we will also welcome a delegation of over 50 Indian businesses to Ottawa.

This event will also feature the launch of the first annual competition under the Canada-India Acceleration Program (CIAP). The program will support 90 women-led Canadian technology companies to scale and entre the Indian market.

Panels

The four panels are:

1) The Future of Canada-India Partnership

This panel will feature His Excellency Vikas Swarup (Indian High Commissioner to Canada) and Jordan Reeves (Canadian Consul General in Mumbai). The panel will be moderated by Carleton's President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Alastair Summerlee.

2) Investing in Canada and India

This panel will feature leading business leaders to share insights on how to successfully invest in Canada and India to ensure high returns on investments.

3) Investing in Real-estate in Ottawa

This panel will feature experts from the real-estate industry to discuss the current trends and opportunities for Indian investors to invest in Ottawa.

4) Educational tie-up opportunities

This panel will feature leaders from Ottawa-based academic institutions to discuss their approach to international recruitment and ways to increase collaborations.

Timing and Location

The event will be held at Carleton University in the Residence Commons building (2nd Floor conference rooms). Registration will begin at 8:30AM. The opening remarks will be at 9:30AM.
