Event description

Description

Mississauga has a story to tell.

The City of Mississauga wants to capture Mississauga’s entire story – from our early Indigenous roots to present day newcomer diversity. The Story of M will collect these stories and use them to influence Museum artifacts and collections, interpretation, exhibitions and programming, public art and events, as well as the priorities for designating heritage properties.

The Museums of Mississauga and the City’s Culture Division will be going across Mississauga in an effort to collect, listen and share stories with residents.

Join the conversation and come share your story and hear the stories of others at an evening of storytelling. It can be your first experience moving to Mississauga, or your great-grandmothers story of growing up in Hurontario & Kennedy Road South area.

Stories will be collected and reviewed by a Panel to determine the community’s priorities.
