Event description

Description

The Office of the Dean is presenting this opportunity in recognition of our commitment to the University of Toronto’s response to the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (Wecheehetowin, meaning "working together"). UTSC’s commitment includes the desire to build stronger relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities, and welcome Indigenous students, scholars, and staff to our campus. UTSC’s commitment is being supported by this learning opportunity for faculty. Presented by UTSC Indigenous Curriculum Developer Brent Stonefish, and supported by UTSC Indigenous Elder Wendy Phillips, this session will provide insight into Indigenous ways of knowing with opportunities for open discussion and questions, and is geared to faculty participants.

SNACKS & LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED!

Registration begins at 9:30. Coffee/Tea/Treats will be served!

Space is limited to 40 participants. RSVP By February 15, 2018.
