WaterTAP, in partnership with the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres, is pleased to offer a two-day workshop for Ontario water technology companies that wish to improve their cultural competency. Join us on August 22-23 to learn about building and fostering stronger relationships and improving cross-cultural understanding. This workshop will cover:

  • Basic understandings of cultural information including historic trauma and key historic markers
  • Best practices for improved engagement and building trust
  • Indigenous culture-based practices and priorities
  • Insights to help you understand if your organization is ready to work with Indigenous communities, and where to start
 
Location: Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, 250 Yonge Street, 35th Floor, Toronto
