About this event
We are excited to have our partners from Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society lead us in an informative session on Indigenous Culture with a special focus on how to best support Indigenous mentee's in your mentoring match! There will be a question and answer period near the end.
The session will be in person and on site at Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society which is located in the former Parkdale School in Central Edmonton (please see map). We kindly ask that if you are feeling ill (Covid or otherwise) that you do not attend and that you let your Match Facilitator know that you will not be in attendance.
Masking is not required, however disposable masks will be made available for those that would like to wear one for the session.
Parking is available on the west side of the gym, parallel to 86 street. The entrance to the gym is where the X is on the map (see attached). The entrance is between the main building and the gym, in an alcove. We will have a staff person available to guide you.
Refreshments will be available but feel free to bring your own waterbottle.
If you have any questions or concerns the day of or need to call for assistance please reach out to Amy Jeske from BGCBigs at 780-822-2519. Thank you.
