We are launching our Indigenous Drop-in with the wonderful @ndnejay. EJ Kwandibens is a wealth of knowledge and will offer his support to folks willing to engage in discussions and knowledge sharing. Free and over zoom, this is a space for you to come in and gain knowledge, ask questions and be involved with like-minded folks. More importantly, this space is primarily catered to Indigenous folks and indigenous issues. At a Time when conversations surrounding the systemic harms against indigenous populations in Canada are being highlighted- as they should always be- we are proud to have someone from the community speak about these central issues. Here are the Subjects EJ has tackled in our previous spaces: horizontal or lateral violence, Indigenous-specific knowledge on organizing and allocating social roles within the community, racism and anti-indigenous discrimination, amongst other subjects!
