DESCRIPTION
This is a discovery session tailored to introducing the fundamentals of sailing to youth. Industrial fans down the length of the pool provide the controlled breeze for a fun and safe introductory sailing environment. Participants get 30 minutes of sailing orientation and instruction covering safety and the basics of how to sail followed by 30 minutes of sailing in the pool. Sailing contributed to the building and developing of civilizations throughout the last 7,000 years. Sailing skills can be learned at any age making sailing a fun recreation and sport for life.
