They will continue their time travel in the exhibition standing where they will learn the hard living conditions of French Canadians at the turn of the twentieth century and understand how the today’s cooperation model took shape.

We are proud that Desjardins has obtained, on 19 February, the level of the LEED NC Gold certification for the building of 150, rue des Commanders at Desjardins Cité cooperation in Lévis. This building is the largest in Quebec to receive LEED® certification at this level in the building Class A office.
In over 132 countries, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a rating system recognized as the mark of excellence for sustainable buildings.
To reach the Gold level, our building had to meet several criteria grouped into six categories:

• Effective management of water
• Energy and atmosphere
• Materials and Resources
• Innovation and Design Process
• Indoor Environmental Quality
Various innovations have contributed to what the 150 is certified LEED Gold, including among others:
• Roofing plant that reduce the heat island effect
• 33 geothermal wells that contribute to air conditioning and heating
• Optimization of natural light for comfort employee

• Increased accessibility to alternative transportation
• 40% savings on the consumption of drinking water
