Welcome Remarks - David O’Brien

David will provide a history of Infant Minds project and introduce keynote speakers

Keynote - Story of Baby Love: Supporting Infant Security - Dr. Jean Wittenberg

Dr. Wittenberg will tell the story of Baby Love from its inception and foundation in attachment theory and theories of emotional regulation to training experiences and evaluation as well as speak to the elements that make it most effective.

Panel Discussion

Participating agencies will discuss Infant Minds Project: Bringing Baby Love program into our Communities. The Panel will be introduced by Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health.

Spotlight Presentation: The Hospital for Sick Children

Chaya Kulkarni will speak about current initiatives at Infant Mental Health Promotion including the competency framework, care pathways for early mental health, Nurturing the Seed, and community-led research efforts.

Spotlight Presentation: Cornwall Child & Youth Mental Health Services

Deena Shorkey will speak about the Infant and Toddler Mental Health Pathway model in the Cornwall area including their interagency table and postpartum support group.

Spotlight Presentation: Skylark

Mary Rella will speak about Me & My Baby Walk-in program at Skylark and share insights from her experience.
