Who is WorkBC Richmond?

Funded by the federal government of Canada and provincial government of British Columbia, WorkBC Richmond is aimed to provide employment services to Richmond job seekers and employers.

What services does WorkBC Richmond offer?

Through WorkBC Richmond’s guidance, you can gain skills and certification, get hired with government incentives, and receive financial support for your new job. In essence, we will empower you to achieve your career goals with one-on-one employment coaching with our Employment Counsellor.

During the one-hour info session, you will not only learn about the different resources at your local Richmond Public Library, but also the team from WorkBC Centre Richmond will give you a clear idea about the employment services including free training opportunities, short term certification program, wage subsidy hiring incentives and lots more.

About the platform provider, Richmond Public Library (RPL)

RPL is the community partner of WorkBC Richmond and the platform provider of the Info Session.

RPL is a community gathering place that offers free resources for all community members. This includes free access to books in over 7 languages, internet and computer access, newspapers from across the world, DVDs, digital collections, resources for children, seniors and newcomers, events, and more. Please contact the library for operating hours and services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
