This course will describe the process for effective communication in various crisis situations by guiding participants through rapid development of risk or crisis messages, the process of message approval, and communications management throughout an incident. The course will also include use of regional systems and tools to issue a single source of truth. This course is best suited to those who have a media/communications background and are assigned to the Information Officer role in the REOC.
Pre-Requisite: REOC Introduction (or equivalent) must be completed prior to taking this course.
