Description


This Allies in Aging workshop is for Volunteers and Service Providers who work with seniors. Presenter: Monica Murguia, 411 Seniors Centre Society.

- Learn why Canadians with a lower income feel less connected to their communities.

- Explore seniors' life transitions and events that strain an already limited income.

- Uncover keys to assist a senior with securing and retaining their benefits.


When: Thursday, June 7, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Registration and lunch from 11:40am.

Where: Creekside Community Centre, 1 Athletes Way, Vancouver

This event is free for Volunteers and Service Providers who work with seniors, but registration is required. Space is limited so please register by Monday, June 4.

Lunch will be provided. Please bring your own mug and beverage.

What are my transportation options for getting to and from the event?

Creekside Community Centre is an 8 minute walk from the Science World Skytrain stop.


Is there parking nearby?

Onsite hourly parking available.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
