YWCA Toronto is offering FREE training programs for women and gender-diverse individuals who are interested in taking the next step toward a rewarding career in the Skilled Trades. We are accepting applications for the following programs:

  • Architectural Glass & Metal Technician (Glazier) Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program - Starting in January 2023 ( Learn More)
  • STAR 4-Women (Skilled Trades Awareness & Readiness) Program - Starting in January/February 2023 (Learn More)

We have been hosting weekly Information sessions for those who may be interested in developing careers in the skilled trades, and we would like to invite you to join our Online Information Session.

In this session, you will get an inside view of each of the programs, including benefits and gains, the eligibility criteria to get into the programs, and the training schedules of the programs. In addition, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and share your feedback or experiences with us.
